adopting pre-fabricated construction principles within a controlled factory environment, thereby
reducing the amount of off cuts produced and wastage on site.
It is worth noting that drywall is attributable to a large percentage of site wastage and landfill
is the main method of disposal. Trials have proved site wastage and landfill quantities attributable
to envirowall™ are almost zero compared to the large percentage when using drywall and
stud work in traditional methods.
All off cuts within our factory are re-used either as supporting components within fixtures and
fittings or segregated for recycling off site along with all other waste product including packaging.
Residual dust produced from our manufacturing processes is collected and re-used as fuel for
heating our factory and offices.
But of course there is always more we can do and so we will continue to review our procedures,
practices and materials used to find better, greener ways of working.
